In-class demos
I've created a draft outline of each demo session that I intend to refine and adjust as necessary. My goal is to focus on the importance of cadence/timing, sound design, informational hierarchy, and the necessity of a solidified storyboard. The students must consider every frame, transition point, and fully commit to creating their stills in Adobe Illustrator so that their vision can be imported easily into After Effects.
Additionally, I've assigned the students a set of essential training on lynda.com in preparation for the practice sessions. I also intend to have a fellow creative who specializes in motion graphics to attend one of the demos to help.
